- The UST Quadricentennial Pavilion

If you’re checking out this
picture in awe... you’re not alone.
Here is the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion. This is
what you get when you mesh the minds of Thomasian architects, engineers, and
artists. This huge ton of awesomeness can seat a lot of people. I believe it is
an injustice to use this gym for physical education students who are bent to
warrant merit in doing handball or egg rolls!
While the old UST gym can host PBL games, this baby can host D-League games as well as UAAP, Champions League, V-League, and other
meets that should claim at least 3,000 paying customers.
The tiger stripes at the
baselines are nice in some ways but I fear that it might not register well on telecasts
(especially since a basketball is orange and the baseline has a lot of it).
Still I wouldn’t mind this if
this lair becomes home to a lot of championship banners hanging on its rafters.
VIVA SANTO TOMAS!
Game over!
