- Why May 18 is an awesome day

Let me introduce to you guys
this little dude.
This guy is my little sister’s
kid. Ethan Jacob Eugenio got birthed
on May 18, 2012 at exactly 3:42pm. He’s tiny and he looks awesome
and I’m afraid to touch him because he looks awesome.
Awesome springs with this kid.
I am going to spoil Ethan and
teach him the ways to piss off my sister.
Anyway, me and my fiancé Cindy took time out from work to plan
for our wedding. At the end of it, our research has led us to get hitched at
the Santisimo Rosario Church –
otherwise known as our alma mater’s chapel. The UST Church tops my list because there’s a tolerable amount of
parking space, it is air conditioned, and the church is in front of the UST Field. This is the place where from
1998 to 2002 I smoked Gudang Garam with
my friends.
By the way… I saw a bunch of
kids cutting school to play DOTA.
It’s like 2001 all over again.
Unfortunately for us, the
reservation for the church starts in September. This schedule is not for all
couples – it’s just that our date is just too far.
For some time now Cindy wants
to check out SR Thai. I don’t. We would have eaten at Almer's if it's still open. I
have no idea why but perhaps my reason for my SR hate is that back then, SR
Thai is expensive. Now it’s like… the same price as what our company canteen
dishes out for their crappy food. And you know what, the food isn’t crappy.
Sure, they served broken glasses to us that for some insane reason doesn’t
spill… but the bagoong rice is kinda
tolerable.
And then we had to walk all the
way from Dapitan to Espana because
there were no taxis available to drive us to the place we will do our
reception. We had to trike our way to the LRT
2 station. By the way, we just paid the reservation fee.
As of this moment, we have a
date, a reception venue, but without the church.
At this point, I heard the
beautiful news that I am now an uncle. To treat me, Cindy offered to pay my
haircut. Going to Bench Fix is nice
and all but I believe this grooming shop is expensively tolerable. They did wonderful
work on my Cindy though… although making her awesome is pretty easy.
Naks.
Then my mom phoned me to bring
grub on the way to the hospital. My sister is extremely hungry after an almost
two-day delivery. I bought two buckets of chicken and went to Capitol Medical Center. After
delivering the food, I got to see Ethan and he was like awesome.

Like I said, awesome springs
with this kid.
After visiting my newborn
nephew and his proud parents, Cindy and I went to SM Megamall and before we went our separate ways, we tried Chatime’s pearl milk tea.
I capped off this eventful day
with my favorite KBS World show Two Days One Night.
I did a lot of things new in my
book and I’m just happy to experience it.
Game over.
